about me

I have been practicing physiotherapy all of my working life in Germany and England.
I have worked in private practices and hospitals and treated neurological and musculoskeletal conditions.
I am trained in acupuncture, shiatsu and foot reflexology.
I have successfully completed a 500hrs Teacher Training course with The Devon School of Yoga.
I am registered with IYN: Independent Yoga Network

I practice Holistic Yoga and Vinyasa Krama.

I have developed an integrated approach to my sessions combining aspects of Yoga and Physiotherapy.

I am presently working for the NHS as a Senior Physiotherapist in the Musculoskeletal Outpatient Department at South Hams Hospital in Kingsbridge.

I also teach Yoga-PhysioTherapy privately.

My body needed help when I was a child and this made me aware of what exercise and postural alignment can achieve. A lot of postures had the same name as I hear nowadays in Yoga, but it was all summarized as basic strengthening or mobilisation exercises to achieve coordination and core stability. Stress in everyday life and at work made me also look more deeply into Yoga over the years. In my opinion Yoga seems to be the best way forward to deal with love, life, universe and everything.
